s a good starting point. For the junior whippet in your family, the Elite 240 C:62 SL ticks all the right boxes. Its lightweight carbon frame and fork - perfectly proportioned for smaller riders - are just the beginning. We chose light, tough Newmen wheels and ultra-light Schwalbe Aerothan inner tubes for quick acceleration. Powered them with a CUBE Action Rookies crank and Sram GX 1x11 transmission. And added child-proportioned handlebars, grips and brake levers - connected to powerful Magura MT8 Pro hydraulic discs - for perfect race day control, whatever the conditions. All that'

s stiff, responsive and, above all, light. So these are exactly the qualities we built into our Elite 240 C:62'
s lightweight carbon frame, but scaled down perfectly to fit younger riders. Every single detail of the frame design is aimed at reducing weight without sacrificing strength or stiffness. A tapered head tube, full carbon fork and 12mm thru axles front and rear ensure precise steering and efficient power transfer. We kept the seatstays narrow for a comfortable ride.
